Using Naka

Terms of service

The ground rules for using the Naka website and any prerelease access you are specifically invited to use.

Last updated October 2, 2026 · Scivana

Operator & availability

These terms cover the Naka website operated by Scivana and any authorized prerelease use of Naka that refers to these terms. Contact [email protected] with questions. The app is in development, is not publicly available, and may change during testing. This website does not offer paid subscriptions or promise a release date. Any future paid offering will disclose its price and terms before purchase.

Who can use Naka

You must be at least 18 to create or use an adult Naka account, and have authority to record or share information about the relevant child. Naka roles and invitations are product permissions, not a legal determination of guardianship. Keep your credentials secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Care records & medical limits

Naka is a care organization tool. It is not a medical device, diagnostic service, emergency service, or substitute for professional advice. A log or nutrition estimate may be incomplete or inaccurate. Reminders do not prove that care was provided or a message received. Contact your clinician for medical questions and local emergency services for emergencies.

Check entries, units, dates, imported information and sharing choices. Keep independent copies of important records and original photos/videos. Prerelease storage, sync, exports, recovery and notifications must be verified before relying on them.

Your content & sharing

You retain your rights in information and media you submit. You grant Scivana permission to process, store, reproduce and transmit that content only as needed to provide the service, carry out your instructions, maintain safety/security and meet legal obligations. We do not receive a right to use private child records in advertising through these terms.

You are responsible for the authority and accuracy of information you provide, and for selecting authorized recipients. Shared records can contain information about several people; access removal, account deletion and removal of family records can have different effects. We will describe the implemented deletion rules before public launch. Review the privacy policy and deletion information.

Acceptable use

Do not use Naka to harass others, upload unlawful or exploitative content, infringe rights, disclose someone’s information without authority, impersonate another person, bypass access controls, or disrupt the service. Do not upload malware or attempt to obtain other families’ records. Report suspected misuse to [email protected].

Service changes & access

We may change features, interrupt service for maintenance, or suspend access when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect people or comply with law. Where practical, we will provide notice and a route to ask questions or retrieve eligible information. Stop using the service and contact us if you want to end your participation.

Third-party services, app stores, phone permissions and connectivity can affect availability. Store-specific terms may apply when a store release becomes available.

Responsibilities & legal rights

During prerelease testing, Naka is provided on an “as available” basis without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, Scivana does not make additional implied warranties about the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.

These terms do not require mandatory arbitration or waive legal rights that applicable law protects. Contact us first if something goes wrong so we can try to resolve it.

Changes & contact

We may update these terms as the service develops. The updated date appears at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated where required, and we will obtain agreement when necessary. Questions, support, complaints and rights requests can be sent to Scivana at [email protected].
