Account & data deletion

A request channel you can use without having the Naka app installed.

Send a deletion request

Email [email protected] with the subject “Naka account deletion”. Use the email associated with your account, if you have one, and say whether you want to delete your account and associated personal data, a specific child/household record you are authorized to manage, or support correspondence only.

No login to this website is required. If you cannot access your original email, describe that in your message. Do not include passwords, sign-in codes, child health details, photos or identity documents.

If your device has no email app, send a message to [email protected] using your usual email service.

What happens next

  1. We confirm receipt and determine which service/records your request concerns.
  2. We verify your identity and authority proportionately before making changes to private information.
  3. We explain the deletion scope, any shared-record effects, required retention, and expected processing period before completion.
  4. We confirm completion or explain any part we cannot remove and why.

We handle privacy requests within applicable legal time limits. This page does not ask you to subscribe, pay, or reinstall the app to request deletion.

Account data & shared records

Naka is not publicly available and this website does not create app accounts. For any specifically invited test account, ask us to verify its data and deletion options.

An adult account, a child profile and an entire household are different scopes. Your request should identify what you want removed; we do not treat leaving a household as erasing everyone’s records. Shared history can contain information about several people, and simply changing an author name may not remove personal information inside notes.

The final shared-history deletion policy, app deletion implementation and fixed retention/backup windows are being settled before public release. This page will be updated with the actual categories deleted or retained and the retention periods. It should not be used as evidence that a released app’s deletion controls have been tested.

Information that may be retained

For current website/support information, we may retain the minimum information needed for legal obligations, security incidents, dispute handling or a record that a request was completed. We explain an applicable exception when answering your request. Hosting/security records may expire according to the provider’s service policy rather than immediate individual deletion. See the privacy policy.

In-app deletion

Public app release will require a working in-app account-deletion path as well as this external request channel. That functionality is a release prerequisite, not available through this website. Contact [email protected] for any prerelease account question.
